Some popular questions that we are asked, we hope this helps any queries you may have.
What qualifications do beauty therapists have?
At spa in the city we only employ beauty therapists that have a HNC or HND qualification in beauty therapy. All our girls are fully trained to the highest Scottish qualification in beauty, spa & wellness-and fully insured.
What do the leisure facilities include?
Use of the gymnasium , pool, steam & sauna and one complementary towel.
Water baby classes run in the pool area on the following dates and times , we advise you avoid the times below if you wish to have a quieter leisure experience
Monday: 10.00am - 11.00am and 1.00pm & 2.00pm
Tuesday: 10.30am - 12.30pm
Wednesday: 10.30am - 3.00pm
Thursday: 1.30pm -3.30pm
Friday: 10.30am - 12.30pm
Sunday: 1.30pm - 5.00pm
What are spa in the city opening hours?
Spa in the City is open 7 days per week.
Monday – Thursday: 10.00am - 7.45pm
Friday: 9.30am - 7.00pm
Saturday: 9.30am - 5.00pm
Sunday: 10.00am - 5.15pm
Spa lunch and afternoon tea?
You can add on a delicious lunch or afternoon tea. Food is served in the Marriott lounge bar. We require any dietary requirements at time of booking. Please note we require 24hrs notice for afternoon tea bookings.
Loyalty Card
Ask to join our loyalty scheme , it is free and you will receive your cheapest spend absolutely free on your eighth treatment! A complimentary pamper is certain to make you feel great.

Is there parking?
As a guest of spa in the city, you benefit from 4hrs free parking. You must enter your car reg on arrival to leisure reception.
Gift Vouchers
When redeeming your gift voucher we require your gift number or code which will be clearly displayed on your gift voucher. The physical gift voucher must be presented on your treatment day.
Consultation
You will be asked to fill out a short health questionnaire on arrival this is so we can ensure a safe treatment.
Cancellation policy
We understand life happens and unforeseen circumstances may occur, we simply ask for 24hours notice if you wish to cancel your appointments. Our cancellation T&Cs are;
A minimum of 24hrs notice to avoid a £20 charge per 55min treatment time.
As a spa in the city client do you get access to the leisure facilities?
Certain spa days include leisure use others do not please check your package details on our treatment menu. If your spa experience does not include leisure use , you can add this to your spa experience for a small fee of £10 pp.
Are robes and slippers included?
A selection of our luxury spa experiences include robe and flip flops or slippers, The spa team can advise you when booking, if your spa experience does not include robe and slippers you can hire for only £5 pp.
3rd Party Gift Vouchers
We team up with 5pm , itison and woucher once or twice per year to offer a spa deal
These gift vouchers have limited availability on weekends , before purchasing one of these
Fantastic deals please be aware that weekends may not be available , as they usually sell out and fill up Incredibly fast. We do have evening appointments available so there will always be reasonable Availability. We request a minimum 7 days notice for bookings. We require a minimum 48hrs notice for all cancellations on these gift vouchers. Please check the full T&Cs on your gift voucher. Robes & slippers are not included.
